DOORS AND BAR: 6pm, SHOW: 7pm. Trustus Managing Director Larry Hembree is bringing a unique evening of entertainment to the Trustus Main Stage. The first act, promising to be the worst dinner theatre ever, features three “lovely women,” formerly from the Lawrence Welk Show singing and telling you all about former lives being on the show and maybe will even feature some hulahooping and old people dance music. This trio of lovelies features Miss Loreen DeMint (born and raised in upstate South Carolina,) Miss Polly Gripp, and Miss Tess Tickles with a special appearance by Miss Patti O’Furniture and maybe even Lawrence Welk himself. Performing in this act, besides Hembree are Gerald Floyd, Jason Watkins, Joe Hudson, Jim Mooney and Miss O’Furniture.
Act Two will feature the best of dinner theatre and the Dick Goodwin trio with singers Kim Harne, Sam McWhite, Katrina Blanding, Janet Hopkins, Caroline Weidner and Avery Bateman. The Dick Goodwin Trio features Goodwin, Jim Hall and Craig Butterfield. The focus of act two will be a celebration of some the world’s greatest women songwriters including Cindy Lauper, Carole King, Billie Holiday and Dorothy Fields.
Dress is "Tourist-Tacky" and you are encouraged to bring dinner with you.
